Washington's Favorite Winter Playground
It's hard to believe you can find a mountain this good so close to Puget Sound.
2600 acres of fabulous terrain. 3100 feet of vertical. Beautiful bowls. Long runs. Incredible views of Mt. Rainier. In fact, the terrain at Crystal Mountain is so good, we're consistently ranked in Skiing Magazine's Top 20 for North American ski resorts. No other ski resort in Washington can make that claim.
Beginners, Experts & Everyone Else... If you're a beginner, there are easy slopes and a friendly ski and snowboard school to help you out with special
beginner lessons to make everything easy.
Intermediates - head to the Forest Queen Express and Green Valley. You simply won't find better intermediate terrain anywhere!
Advanced skiers and boarders will be in heaven. Just try Powder Bowl or High Campbell Basin after a big dump and you'll never go anywhere else.
Or explore all the new lift-served terrain that was opened by the new
Northway chair! Incredible. And if you're willing to hike a little, you'll find terrain that's unlike any you've ever experienced - it's that good.
For families, check out Crystal's innovative and family-friendly kids program. Kids 6 and under ski for free, and kids ages 7-10 ski for
half price! What a great way for families to enjoy our winter playground.
Convenient Lodging For Every Budget Ask anyone who's stayed a few nights at Crystal, and they'll tell you it's the only way to go.
Hit the slopes before the weekend and holiday crowds. Wear yourself out midweek with no lines and no crowds. Enjoy an après ski drink or meal without dreading the drive home. Find out just how relaxing a winter vacation can be.
Our lodging partners make it easy to come up and spend a few nights, a week or more. Accommodations range from private condos to cozy hotel rooms to chalet suites or even a romantic honeymoon cabin - with price ranges to suit whatever budget you choose.
We even have midweek and early/late season specials that save you lots of money - with no lines and no crowds.
Lots Of Places To Wine & Dine...
During the day,
make sure to check out Crystal's newly remodeled Summit House Bistro. At
6872', it's Washington's highest restaurant and it's a wonderful spot
to have a sit-down lunch looking out at Mt. Rainier.
The Alpine Inn Restaurant and Bullwheel Restaurant are open every evening for delicious dinners. Want a pizza or something more casual? Check out the Snorting Elk Deli next to the Snorting Elk Pub.
Just want an après ski drink and some great conversation? Both the Bullwheel and Snorting Elk Pub have a great selection of microbrews and wine, plus some great signature drinks. There's even live music on winter weekends, with special events planned all throughout the week.
And There's Still More...
Rent some snowshoes from Crystal's rental shop or Greenwater Skis and explore one of this area's many trails. There are dozens of snowshoe hikes that range from beginner to advanced - many with great views of Mt. Rainier.
